- Wicks – Small wicks, trimmed to fit inside the eggshells. Pre-tabbed wicks work well, or you can use a cotton thread dipped in wax.
- A Double Boiler – A heat-safe bowl or jar placed over a pot of boiling water to melt the wax in.
- A Spoon or Wooden Skewer – For stirring the wax.
- An Egg Carton or Small Bowl – To keep the eggshells steady while pouring the wax.
- Natural Food-Safe Dye (Optional) – If you wish to tint the wax.

7. Trim the Wicks & Charge
Once the candles are fully set, trim the wicks to about ¼ inch. If desired, anoint them with oil, carve symbols into the wax, or set them on your Ostara altar to charge before use.
