Winter organizes what remains so that the next beginning has direction behind it.

Like a new year, spring doesn’t arrive all at once. It begins quietly, somewhere between the last stillness of winter and the first signs of movement. The ground softens, light lingers a little longer, and perhaps something that has been held inward begins to shift… Changes are not yet visible, but no longer dormant.
The astrological year opens in this same way. As the Sun moves into Aries at the Spring Equinox, and there is a natural turning toward life again—not rushed, not forced, but ready. The weeks before it, shaped by Pisces, ask us to feel, to release, to let things settle into place… And from that place, something begins to emerge. Maybe not a full plan or a finished form; yet, a direction that feels true enough to follow.
Let’s walk through this astrological year as it unfolds—from Spring 2026 through to March 2027—staying close to the rhythms that guide it. The seasons will give us the larger shape, the zodiac offering a way of noticing what is being asked of us, the Moon will help move us through cycles of beginning and completion, again and again… And the planets will continuously shift the cosmic atmosphere, sometimes gently, sometimes more abruptly, but always with purpose.
This year begins by asking for honesty, then builds slowly from there. What is felt becomes chosen, what is chosen becomes acted on, and what is acted on begins to take form. There is no need to rush ahead of it; the rhythm itself carries us forward.
Spring sets the direction, the rest of the year follows…
So we begin here—at the fresh edge of winter—with something stirring, and the first steps ready to be taken.

SPRING 2026: Initiation & Direction
Early Spring: March–April
Early spring begins with a noticeable shift in pace. The first part of March is still inwardly focused, especially as the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on March 3rd brings attention to what is out of alignment in practical terms (work, routines, responsibilities, and the small systems that support daily life). It probably helped surface what has been inefficient or unnecessary, not to overwhelm, but to make adjustment possible.
Two weeks later, the New Moon in Pisces on March 18th closes a longer emotional cycle. This was not a time for decision-making as much as it served as a time for release. Whatever was lingering—uncertainty, fatigue, unresolved feelings—reached a natural point of completion. The focus wasn’t on what was coming next yet, instead inviting us to recognize what we will no longer carry forward.
March 20th, the Sun enters Aries & the energy changes.
This initial period of the season aligns with what has historically been observed as a point of emergence. Light and dark reach equilibrium at the equinox, and from there, growth begins to take visible form. The shift is not merely symbolic, it is timelessly and globally observable.
The Spring Equinox arrives to mark the beginning of a new astrological year. The energy is now much more direct, but still not fully formed. However, there is also enough clarity to act now, even if the full picture is still developing. With Mercury also stationing direct at this pivotal threshold, and no other planets retrograde at all for the next six weeks, there is also less interference in communication and decision-making—especially than in the weeks directly prior. Things are finally beginning to move more cleanly, easily, and progressively.

April builds on this momentum.
The Full Moon in Libra on April 1st brings in a relational dimension early in the month. It reflects how individual choices are affecting partnerships, dynamics, and balance. This is not separate from the Aries activity, but it is the counterpoint. Movement in one area immediately creates movement in another.
Then, the New Moon in Aries on April 17th reinforces initiation. It provides an opening to begin something new, but it does so alongside Mars moving through Aries, which will add some pressure. Action is required, but it may not always be comfortable. Hesitation, doubt, or unresolved issues can become visible. Do not allow challenges to become obstacles and stop progress, instead recognizing what needs to be worked through in order to move forward with more integrity.
This part of the season is for beginning, adjusting, and continuing forward with what proves to be real enough to sustain. By the end of April, the focus will have moved from clearing to action. Not everything will have stabilized yet, but it is on its way.

Late Spring: May–June
Late spring 2026 shows what is able to hold. The shift begins at the end of April, as Uranus enters Gemini. This introduces a change in pace that will be less steady, but more responsive. Thought, communication, and information begin to move differently, though the full impact takes time to unfold.
Then on May 1st, the Full Moon in Scorpio brings attention to what sits beneath the surface of what has already begun. Motivation, pressure, and attachment become clearer. It doesn’t disrupt to stop progress, but it will reveal whether something is being built from alignment or from strain.
By mid-May, the focus settles.
The New Moon in Taurus on May 16th marks a turn toward stability. What was initiated earlier in the season will now need structure and support. This is where our efforts develop potency as we becomes consistent. Attention will naturally shift toward what is required to maintain momentum over time.

On May 18th, Mars enters Taurus and reinforces that shift. Movement will slow, becoming more deliberate. Progress will measured by what can be sustained, not what can be started quickly.
At the same time, Mercury moves into Gemini on May 17th, followed by the Sun on May 20th. Thus, as the physical pace steadies, the mental pace increases. There will likely be more exchange—conversation, learning, adjustment—as what has been built desires to connect to a wider context.
The Full Moon in Sagittarius on May 31th expands that perspective even further. It will place all our recent efforts into a broader frame, helping us understand what they mean, where they lead, and whether they align with a longer direction.
June carries this clarity forward.
Mercury enters Cancer on June 1st, shifting attention toward emotional context and personal relevance. Decisions will begin to factor in, not just “what works,” but also what feels right.
Then, the New Moon in Gemini on June 14th will support refinement through or perhaps of that understanding. Patterns could become clearer through experiences, and whatever has been tested over the past several months will begin to organize itself into something more usable.

June 21st, the Sun enters Cancer & the season turns.
The Summer Solstice marks a change from the energy steadily building outward to adjusting to increasingly connecting inward. What has been created now needs to be integrated: supported, felt, and aligned with something personal. Growth that isn’t connected to meaning begins to lose direction.
On June 28th, Mars enters Gemini, reintroducing some movement—this time through ideas, conversation, and adaptability rather than force. Two days later, on June 30, Jupiter enters Leo and the tone opens even further. There will be more confidence, more visibility, and a clearer sense of forward movement in the air.

SUMMER 2026: Expression & Visibility
Summer begins with a shift in emphasis. By the time the Sun enters Cancer on June 21st, the focus will start to move away from building and toward experiencing what has been built. Our attention will be pulled inward, not to slow our progress down at all, but to help us connect it to something more personal. What has taken shape now wants to feel like it belongs.
The New Moon in Cancer on July 14th will reinforce this, bringing our attention to home, history, and emotional grounding. This is when we will have the opportunity to see if our foundation needs to be reinforced or adjusted at all. What supports us becomes clearer, as does what doesn’t.

Mid-July restores forward movement in areas that may have felt unclear. Mercury, retrograde in Cancer, will move direct on July 23th. With this, communication stabilizes, decisions become easier to follow through on, and what was uncertain begins to settle into something usable.
The Sun enters Leo on July 22nd & the season opens.
This is where visibility increases and what was allowed to become personally meaningful begins asking to be expressed. There is more confidence, but also more exposure. The Sun’s conjunction with Jupiter in Leo on July 29th amplifies that shift too; growth will become more visible and a stronger sense of momentum behind what is being shared or created will be felt.
However, at the same time, the Full Moon in Aquarius on July 29th will provide some helpful contrast. It places individual expression within a wider context: how it connects, where it contributes, and how it’s received. So, this isn’t so much a restriction, as it’s a reminder: what is created doesn’t exist in isolation.
August continues this expansion, introducing correction.
The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 12th marks a reset around identity and direction. It doesn’t create something entirely new, but it may redirect what has already been building. What feels aligned strengthens, but whatever doesn’t also begins to fall away more quickly.

Later in the month, the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on August 28th shifts attention inward again. It brings emotional clarity, often through contrast—what has been expressed outwardly will be reflected back through feeling. This is when adjustments can happen, not through force, but through awareness.
At the same time, Mercury and the Sun form tense aspects to Uranus in Gemini around this period, creating instability in communication and perception. Plans may shift quickly as information changes, or what seemed certain may require revision.
By late August, the tone begins to change again.
As the Sun and Mercury move into Virgo, attention returns to refinement. The focus shifts from expression to function: how something works, how it can be improved, and what needs to be adjusted to make it sustainable. Thus, summer doesn’t just help energy expand, it also reveals what holds up under that pressure—and what needs to be refined before moving forward.

FALL 2026: Refinement & Transformation
In September, the pace changes. After the visibility and movement of summer, attention turns toward refinement. The New Moon in Virgo on September 10th will bring our focus back to the practical: what is working, what isn’t, and what needs adjustment. Our efforts will likely become more precise, details will matter more, and systems can be meticulously reviewed.
Venus enters Scorpio and Mercury enters Libra on the same day. This means relationships and communication may both come into focus, but in different ways. The Libran Mercury will seek balance and clarity in interactions, while the Scorpionic Venus begins to draw attention toward what is deeper and less visible in our connections: motivation, trust, and underlying dynamics.

The Full Moon in Aries on September 26th will highlights the tension between individual direction and relational balance. Actions taken earlier in the year may be reflected back through their impact on others. This isn’t a reversal—it’s feedback. It will show us where independence and connection need to be brought into better alignment.
The Sun enters Libra on September 22nd & the season turns.
This is the Autumn Equinox, another point in the solar cycle that has long been honored: day and night again returning to balance, but this time, the beginning of a gradual descent into shorter days. The shift is steady, as the energy begins to consolidate rather than drastically retract.
Towards the end of September, Mars enters Leo on September 27th, bringing a return of visible action. However, probably with more awareness behind it than earlier in the year. What is expressed at this time carries the experience of everything that has already been tested.
October deepens the processing.
The New Moon in Libra on October 10th resets relational dynamics. It offers us a chance to recalibrate agreements, expectations, and how our energy is shared… But, this doesn’t happen in isolation.
On October 3rd, Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio, and will be followed by Mercury turning retrograde in Scorpio on October 24th. Together, these shifts will turn attention inward, especially around our relationships and values. What was assumed may now become questioned, or what was once hidden becomes more visible. This is not surface-level adjustment; it is a chance for deeper review of what has actually been driving our choices and connections.

As the Sun enters Scorpio on October 23rd, that probing depth becomes unavoidable. The focus moves toward what is beneath the surface: power, control, desire, and truth. The Full Moon in Taurus on October 26th will provide some contrast, bringing attention back to stability and what can be relied on… Yet, the tension between these two points—depth and stability—is still demanding clarity on what is and what is not sustainable.
By November, the emphasis begins to shift again.
The New Moon in Scorpio on November 9th will continue the work of internal adjustment, but with more direction. What has been revealed over the previous weeks can now begin to be worked with more intentionally.

On November 13th, both Mercury and Venus will station direct, restoring forward movement and progress in our communication and relationships. What was unclear will begin to settle. Decisions that were delayed can now be made with more confidence.
The Sun enters Sagittarius & the season begins to turn.
The Full Moon in Gemini on November 24th will offer clarity through perspective. It allows for a broader understanding of what has changed, how our thinking has shifted, and how that shift affects our sense of direction moving forward.
Before the final calendar month of the year, Mars enters Virgo on November 25, returning attention to practical application of what we’ve been noticing, learning, and integrating. The focus will move from insight into action as we start to ask: What needs to be done before winter, and how can I do it most effectively?
Fall doesn’t end with resolution, but it will probe us for our own clarity—about what has changed, what remains, and what is ready to move forward into the next phase.

WINTER 2026: Structure & Realignment
Winter begins with a return to structure. As the Sun enters Capricorn on December 21st, attention naturally shifts toward what needs to be built and maintained. What was explored in late autumn now has to take form in a practical way.
Early December reflects that transition. The New Moon in Sagittarius on December 8th still looks ahead, but shifting aspects to Uranus and Pluto show that plans will not be settled. Direction is forming, but not yet fixed.
By the Full Moon in Cancer on December 23th, the contrast is clear though: external responsibility and internal needs require balancing. At the same time, tension with Neptune will add even more uncertainty, requiring careful discernment around what is actually stable for us as we move into the new calendar year.
January will continue the work of refinement.
The New Moon in Capricorn on January 7th reinforces any resolutions or commitments, but Mars turning retrograde in Virgo on January 10th will likely slow our progress. Systems, routines, and methods will require our review. What doesn’t work will become progressively harder to carry forward.

As the Sun enters Aquarius on January 20th, perspective widens. Focus will shift from individual structure to larger systems: how things connect and where change is needed. The Full Moon in Leo on January 22nd reflects this balance between personal expression and collective direction, further enhancing this expanded awareness.
February marks another turning point.
The Solar Eclipse in Aquarius on February 6th will initiate a longer-term shift in how systems are approached. Two days later, Uranus is turning direct in Gemini, which will assist in restoring movement in communication and adaptation. Then, Mercury turns retrograde on February 9th, for a period of review across both intuitive and logical processes. Clarity will develop through reflection, not speed.

The Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on February 20th will bring this into focus in practical terms: work, health, and daily structure. What has been reconsidered internally will now start to show where adjustment is still needed eternally.
Late in the month, Mars retrograde moves into Leo on February 21st, and attention will be shifting from method to motivation. The question becomes, not how something is done, but why.
March completes the cycle.
The New Moon in Pisces on March 8 helps to close the winter season with reflection and release. What has been worked through begins to settle. By the time the Sun enters Aries on March 20th, the direction is clearer once more. Winter hasn’t created visible growth, but it nurtured alignment—what begins next can move with more purpose as a result.

2026-2027: THE CYCLE
An astrological year like this doesn’t move in a straight line. It begins by clearing space, asking for inspiration before everything is defined. It builds through action, then steadies through what can be maintained. It expands into visibility, then turns back to refine what is actually working. By winter, it reduces everything to what is real enough to carry forward into the next cycle.
Nothing is wasted, each phase supports the next. What is released creates space, what begins is tested, what is built holds, what is visible is refined, and what remains becomes structure. The rhythm stays consistent, even as the details change repeatedly.
What this year offers is not a fixed outcome, but a clear progression: begin, act, build, refine, and align. Each phase will ask for something different, and none of them can be skipped without consequence. By the time the Sun returns to Aries in 2027, the question will no longer be “what am I starting,” but “where am I starting from?” You’ll have the chance then to move forward from what has been cleared, what has been proven, and what you ultimately choose to carry forward.
Main Highlights: Turning Points in the Year

- A Mind in Motion (April 25)
Uranus enters Gemini, loosening old patterns of thought and opening new pathways of perception. What once felt certain begins to shift, inviting curiosity over control and movement over certainty. - The Courage to Be Seen (August 12)
The Leo Solar Eclipse marks a threshold of expression. Identity sharpens, visibility increases, and what has been growing quietly asks to step into the light. - What Lies Beneath (October–November)
Venus retrograde in Scorpio draws attention below the surface. Relationships, desires, and values reveal their deeper roots—what is true strengthens, and what is not begins to dissolve. - A Change in the System (February 6–8)
The Aquarius Solar Eclipse, followed by Uranus turning direct, signals a shift that reaches beyond the personal. Structures evolve, perspectives widen, and a new way of moving through the world begins to take shape.
Mindset Priming: Preparing for the Cycle Ahead
I allow clarity to develop
I feel into what is real
I release everything else
This year doesn’t ask for perfection or constant forward motion. It asks for attention—to timing, to what is working, and to what is ready for change. When we move with the Nature’s rhythms instead of against them, decisions become clearer, effort becomes more effective, and growth becomes more natural. We find out first hand that what unfolds over the astrological year does not have to be random; it can be responsive, and the more present we are within it, the more intentional our direction becomes.
